About The Project

Minds That Matter aims to shed light on and raise awareness about Mental Health, specifically the human rights of individuals living with mental health issues. Our goal is to take a fresh and unbiased look at this issue, bringing awareness to positive changes in progress as well as areas in need of more attention and focus in the future.

Your Voice is Needed!

Are you a mental health patient? Have you experienced a violation of your human rights?
We are currently working with OPDI (Ontario Peer Development Initiative) and Krasman Centre to connect with individuals who feel their story may help to bring attention to the issue of human rights and mental health. If you think you have experienced the violation of your human rights in the following situations, please get in touch with us and let your voice to be heard.
- Forensic ward
- Interaction with police and other law enforcement
- Jails and/or prisons
- Provincial and federal courts and judiciary systems in overall

We are especifically looking for NCR (Not Criminally Responsible) and Unfit To Stand Trial cases.
