ABOUT THE SERIES

Eastern Promises is about exotic pastries from the Middle East. It's a 7 episode season and each episode is about 10-12 minutes long.

Each season is dedicated to one country, and each episode explores one city through their favourite confectionery item.

The first season is about Iran. The video briefly introduces the city, demographics, culture and geography, then It shows the making of the confectionery item in the traditional baking shops. To present the taste and texture to the audience, the host tries the item for the first time in front of the camera and shares his experience.
